Hisarönü Bay is Blue with Zen Diamond

For nine years we provide continuous support to various projects Turmepa-Marine Environment Protection Association, the sea and the protection of our coast continues to work on bringing order to leave future generations a livable Turkey to become a national priority. Since the day it was founded, the association has been working together with stakeholders from all segments of the society in order to prevent pollution of the seas, to ensure the continuation of life in the sea and to instill a love for the sea in individuals.

 

Turmepa-Clean Sea Association collects millions of tons of liquid and solid waste every year in bays frequented by yacht and touristic boat owners in the Aegean and the Mediterranean with waste collection boats with the "Blue Coasts Project". The Deniztemiz III boat, sponsored by Zen Diamond this year, cleans the Hisaronu Gulf of Marmaris. Our boat has kept 12 million liters of seawater clean by preventing 500,000 liters of wastewater from entering the sea in the last three years.

* The collected wastes are discharged to the treatment of Martı Marina located in Orhaniye.

 

Deniztemiz III yacht in the last 3 years;

 

1,361,192 liters of domestic waste water, 8,892 liters of bilge water, 1,361 Jumbo size garbage bags collected solid waste from 2251 boats.

 

* 1,500,000 liters of wastewater is equal to the amount of more than 75,000 carboy water. The Deniztemiz III boat kept 12 million liters of sea water clean by preventing 500,000 liters of wastewater from entering the sea.

Briefly "Blue Coasts Project"

Within the scope of the "Blue Coasts Project", TURMEPA collects millions of tons of liquid and solid waste every year in the bays that are frequented by yacht and touristic boat owners in the Aegean and Mediterranean with waste receiving boats. Within the scope of the project, the association collected 30 million liters of liquid waste in 22 years in order to keep life in the seas alive and prevented solid waste up to 500 thousand jumbo size garbage bags from entering the seas. In the last 5 years alone, more than 18 million liters of waste water, more than 36 thousand liters of bilge and nearly 200 thousand jumbo size garbage bags were collected from more than 20 thousand boats in 4 different gulfs. Waste collection boats can be used as mobile services in Çeşme Bay, Hisarönü Bay and Göcek Bay throughout the season.
